We found this one immediately very honeyed, with big notes of malt extract, treacle tart and golden cinnamon breakfast cereals. There were also lots of flower nectars, pollens, sweet stout ales and oatmeal biscuits. Sweet, rich and apparently mature beyond its years, we decided. With water we found rich aromas of rum fudge, ginger biscuits, tobacco, cocoa powder and mint julep. It was once again rich and complex. The neat palate was full of heather honey, pollens, old-style malty shilling beers, coconut and meadow flowers. A wee tang of butterscotch sauce added further sweetness. Water brought digestive biscuits, molten butter, green ginger wine and sweetened olive oil, plus more of those breakfast cereal and biscuity vibes, with a hint of camphor and putty.
