Floral breeze through toffee apple trees

Speyside, Spey

Dusty puffs of white pepper and icing sugar tickled the nose before sweet notes of white chocolate and fudge danced on buttered crumpets. The floral spice of carnations joined dried rose petals on a breeze that rippled fresh linen on a line like the sails of a square rig galleon. A prickly palate suggested pink pickled ginger and wasabi along with gooseberries before sweetening to toffee ice cream, crystallised honey and chocolate. A decidedly woody side emerged with water that embraced fresh oak sawdust with a woodworking bench and nutty tones of almonds and nutmeg. Soft leather shrouded spicy cinnamon and cloves before a deluge of sweetness delivered toffee apples, butterscotch and lemon icing.
