Along with these transportive aromas come a palate of almond cakes, malted milk balls and Brazil nuts! The nose offers an amuse-bouche of amber and sandalwood, truly luxurious and decadent. A freshly cut bunch of violets walks its way across my palate and then dances a tango of leathers and linens, and a bowl over ripe fruits on a cold night. Polished wood and a hint of old books erupt into a finish of olive oil rum cake, what a delight!
