Floral notes then emerged through the mist as nasturtiums, bergamot and rose water sprinkled over lavender bushes and dessert apples. The palate carried a peppery spice that integrated with orange, grapefruit and black grapes before a dry finish delivered cloves, black olives and tree bark. The reduced nose was more floral with lavender, cherry blossom and mandarins but now with rhubarb and herbal notes of sage, tarragon and dill.
