On the palate barrel proof rum followed by an unctuous juicy, fruity sweetness of apple\/cherry punch spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. After the addition of water, we peeled a tangy tangerine, roasted chestnuts and flambéed a banana with cognac before we tucked into an incredibly moist carrot cake with a fluffy orange icing.
