The taste was that of a warm embrace and a bouquet of flowers, roses, ivy and myrtle which, in Victorian times, stood for beauty, friendship and good luck. After adding a tiny drop of water, lovely sweet aromas of chocolate-dipped marzipan almond horns, Turkish delight and gulab jamun appeared while the taste was sweet and silky like a satin scarf and a slice of creamy coconut cheesecake.
