With water it opens up with mineral oils, old tool sheds, lighter fluid, muddled mint and nettles, river reeds, clay, limestone and straw mats. Further hints of vegetable stock and cut grass. The palate is full on with fruity chilli, chalk, black pepper, hot smoked paprika, spiced custard, gingerbread and buttered oatcakes.
