Plenty of heat up front like a richly spiced plum chutney or a Chinese 5 spiced Dark’n Stormy cocktail. Water added initially an ashy and slightly burnt aroma which floated away and left us with freshly peeled, slightly unripe bananas. On the palate still plenty going on, tangy new oak, marmalade, and a glass of cloudy pastis.
