The sweet, woody palate had lemon drizzle cake, liquorice allsorts and brown sugar; ginger, siftings of cinnamon and a shimmering shower of soft wood shavings. The reduced nose detected perfumed sun-cream on a gentle breeze, syrupy banana fritters and sugary, lemony pancakes.
