The neat palate was lively and mouth-filling but not aggressive – confectionery sweetness (rhubarb rock, cola cubes), some marmalade citrus peel and sweet spice to finish (Big Red, hot cross buns). The reduced nose was sweet and gentle (gummi bears, jelly beans, strawberry laces) with subtle dandelion and gorse flower perfume.
