The neat palate had \u003cstrong\u003emouth-coating viscosity\u003c\/strong\u003e, expanding flavours of sweet malt; \u003cstrong\u003espicy, nutty, citric cakes\u003c\/strong\u003e and a hot, dry, lingering finish of \u003cstrong\u003eginger, nutmeg and white pepper\u003c\/strong\u003e. The reduced nose had one panellist chopping \u003cstrong\u003efresh ginger\u003c\/strong\u003e on a wooden board; another enjoyed \u003cstrong\u003ecoffee and croissants\u003c\/strong\u003e on a newly-constructed wooden deck at the beach.
