The palate was all sweetness and spice – caramel wafer, chocolate chip cookies, spun sugar, gingerbread, hot cross buns and a finish of spiced muscovado. The reduced nose was sweetly seductive – chocolate-coated foamy bananas, dolly mixtures, Jap Desserts and lemon and honey tea.
