The palate was sweet and fruity – orange and lemon jelly slices, summer creams, rhubarb rock and plums, but with some nice, warm, spicy tingles – the rhubarb jam now had definite ginger. The reduced nose found pear-drops, apricot jam and marzipan with liquorice and Fisherman’s Friends warming up the finish.
