The palate offered \u003cb\u003elively bramble, blackcurrant and salted pineapple\u003c\/b\u003e, then toffee apple, cinnamon Danish and \u003cb\u003eWalnut Whip\u003c\/b\u003e sweetness, all finely balanced by cask-derived flavours of \u003cb\u003eliquorice, nutmeg and clove\u003c\/b\u003e. The reduced nose combined \u003cb\u003erunny honey\u003c\/b\u003e and chocolate mint cracknel with toasted coconut and a \u003cb\u003ejenga tower of fresh staves\u003c\/b\u003e. Eminently drinkable, the palate now gave us lip-smacking ice-lolly and \u003cb\u003eraisiny sweetness\u003c\/b\u003e over a pleasantly tingling, \u003cb\u003espicy, oaky under-structure\u003c\/b\u003e.
