A rousing taste awaited us – salted caramels, autumn-spiced apple pie, chilli beef tortilla wraps with sour cream and guacamole – certainly characterful! Water added a surprising elegance to the nose as cinnamon French toast, Belgian wheat beer, crispy green apples and a mint julep cocktail emerged.
