The palate was a delightful sweet and sour experience of creamy toffee, honey and jelly bean sweetness, rhubarb rock, pineapple and mango stone fruitiness and a complex after-taste of espresso, bitter lemon and pencil chewing. On the reduced nose we found syrupy lemon cake and lime curd, hot buttered crumpets, flower meadows, lemon balm and spearmint.
