On the palate, sweet notes (honey, toffee, chocolate fondants) were followed by woody warmth – spiced poached pears, sugar-coated fennel seeds, white pepper and paprika. The reduced nose supplied banana loaf with walnuts, granola, a wooden tobacco box, jasmine and eucalyptus twigs.
