The palate was vibrant and fizzy to start with - pineapple and ginger coming together - but then soon turned very creamy like a lemon sponge cake. Diluted we prepared poached white peaches in a dry Riesling wine with rose jelly and vanilla cream. The taste was now sweet, tangy and fresh like a glass of carrot, clementine and pineapple juice.
