Spicy aromas fused with nutty nuances before we discovered banoffee pie and honeycomb. The palate was sweet like toffee and cocoa but with tart overtones of underripe plums and cranberries. A dash of water simply accentuated the wood, bringing forth charred oak staves that had been sitting in a dimly lit corner of the warehouse.
