To taste, the smoke had a more \u003cstrong\u003etarry character\u003c\/strong\u003e (the taste left after working with bitumen roofing sheets), \u003cstrong\u003eBuckley’s Mixture\u003c\/strong\u003e and eucalyptus – the balancing sweetness reminded us of \u003cstrong\u003eaniseed-flavoured Liquorice Allsorts \u003c\/strong\u003eand blackjack chews (liquorice, blackcurrant). The reduced nose had \u003cstrong\u003ecleaner, more clinical smoke\u003c\/strong\u003e, causing one panellist to recall a journey on the \u003cstrong\u003eJacobite steam train \u003c\/strong\u003e(wood, leather, \u003cstrong\u003esmoke, heather, pine\u003c\/strong\u003e).
