The aroma was that of a big, rich yet complex and elegant Sauternes wine, full of smoky lemon and melon balancing the sweetness of tangerine, pineapple and vanilla. On the palate neat more like Pinot Gris Vendange Tardive (late-harvest wine from Alsace); apricot, mango and white peaches with a hint of tobacco smoke – complex, powerful, yet delicate and silky smooth.
