The palate was juicy, fruity and refreshing – pear slices, lemon barley water, raspberry ripple, cherry pie and Starburst; hints of oak and salted pineapple on the after-taste. The reduced nose offered banana fudge and Battenberg cake, candied peel and sherbet lemons and sunshine on polished wood.
