A beautiful example of bourbon cask-matured distillate, malt and honey melt into one another in a subtly complex sipper from this rarely-seen distillery.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eTasting Panel Note:\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e \u003c\/strong\u003eIt was immediately apparent that this one possessed a distillate-forward profile, with up front aromas of lanolin, soft beeswax, runny honey and freshly laundered fabrics. It was light, fresh and full of raw ingredient qualities, we all agreed. With water we noted light sooty touches, plus crushed cereals, aspirin and dusty pollens on dried flowers. When neat, the palate conjured lots of caramelised oatmeal, buttered toast, distinctive flavours of sweet wort and mashy cereal notes. Once again, this was dominated by the natural ingredients.
