We found a pleasantly viscous mouth-feel, tangy, zesty citrus flavours (grapefruit, lemon, lime) and some bitter, but enjoyable woody notes (tree bark, root ginger). The reduced nose grew more tropical (melon, unripe mango, pineapple, lemon, lime, grapefruit – one panellist got a piña colada with cocktail cherry); plus Turkish Delight, wine gums and flat-pack pine furniture.
