The palate impresses immediately with its mouth-coating texture – flavours include juicy, perfumed exotic fruits (mango, melon, passion-fruit), spiced vanilla syrup and a hint of char, reminiscent of good quality bourbon. The reduced nose is perfumed and opulent – revisiting some interesting wood notes of fruit bowls and cigar boxes, plus fig rolls and jelly snake sweets.
