The palate delighted with toasted nuts on a Knickerbocker glory, pineapple upside-down cake, toffee apple, salted caramel and hints of kelp. The reduced nose evoked iced wedding cake at a garden party – someone smoking a cigar behind the shrubs – and a bit more saltiness – suggestive of old ship’s timbers.
