A sticky fruitcake mix was abundant with sultanas, dates and dried apricots whilst a plethora of crystalised fruits joined with glace cherries and a dash of orange oil. A thick slab of marzipan sat beside rhubarb crumble and plum tarts, dusted with demerara sugar and a sprinkling of crushed pecans. The palate introduced a zesty fizz reminiscent of lime marmalade and grapefruit with a pleasing mouthfeel of wax and extra virgin olive oil.
