The palate was equally as juice laden with soft papaya and lime curd on fresh crepes dusted with icing sugar. With a dash of water came hazelnuts and biscuit sweetness with apples and esters suggesting Caribbean rum. Lemon peel and apples remained on the palate but were now joined by Scottish black bun (fruitcake baked in pastry) with singed raisins.
