A tingly mouthfeel of crystallised ginger and strawberry sherbet surrounded nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves before the arrival of green apples, gooseberries and fresh sawdust. Fragrant aromas remained with water but were now joined by the juicy fruits of pineapple, dried mango and pears in golden syrup. Fresh coconut and oak combined with a green sourness as we moved onto the palate bound by popcorn, vanilla and tropical juice.
