To taste, it’s perfumed, fruity, sweet and juicy (lemon drizzle cake and exotic fruits) but it evaporates leaving a dry, lip-tingling finish of cumin, liquorice and oak. The reduced nose is attractive and exotic – pineapple tarts, sherbet lemons, mango, roasted peach, ice-cream and Battenberg cake.
