The palate has honey, golden syrup, jam tarts, banoffie pie, cherry and chocolate, with oak, leather, citrus and spice playing on the tongue later. The reduced nose is even more floral and attractive – ‘wedding cake and posies’, ‘a garden centre in bloom’.
