Passing the time, we ate wasabi peas, cucumber sticks with Chaat Masala, a combination of savoury, fragrant and salty Indian spices, chilli rice crackers and Nori, Japanese roasted seaweed. After a drop of water, we added driftwood to the open fire and started roasting chestnuts as well as marshmallows.
