To taste, lightly salted and a lovely sweet floral smoke with a distinct herbal finish. Water added smoked strawberries, oyster sauce and salty sea spray, while on the palate we found sugar cured smoked salmon with a drizzle of honey and teriyaki sauce. At nine years of age, we combined selected casks from the same distillery. We then returned the single malt into a variety of different casks to develop further.
