In the taste, the damp peat smoke was prevalent, with salty maritime vibes and a spicy sweet finish like a smoky rum baba. Water brought the fruits out, with fermenting pineapple, rummy bananas and subtle cherry notes.  We found the smoke and rum further mingling and harmonising.
