The palate whispered of cardamom and chilli but sang full-throatedly of juicy exotic fruits, gummi bears, lemon peel and honey. The reduced nose became more citric – Key lime pie and lemon drizzle cake, sherbet straws, perfumed pear and cut flowers scattered over oak floorboards.
