The big, intense palate combines red apple skins, pomegranate, cherry stones and kirsch with salted liquorice, wood char, citrus peel and ginger wine; the finish dry. The reduced nose has blossom honey, flapjack and vanilla slice sweetness, behind which lurks shaved oak, menthol cigarettes and leather.
