Tasting it removed any illusion of delicacy – \u003cstrong\u003eintense smoke\u003c\/strong\u003e (fishing nets on that bonfire) and \u003cstrong\u003eshovel-fulls of cigar ash\u003c\/strong\u003e – but intriguing acidic sweetness (reminiscent of \u003cstrong\u003eMoffat toffees\u003c\/strong\u003e, mince-meat pies or balsamic glaze) brought \u003cstrong\u003esatisfying sapidity\u003c\/strong\u003e to the smoke. The reduced nose found sea breezes, preserved limes, \u003cstrong\u003eprunes and fig rolls\u003c\/strong\u003e. The palate – lemon on fruits de mer – \u003cstrong\u003eeverlastingly enjoyable\u003c\/strong\u003e.
