It was sublime on the palate as we continued dreaming, now of a peach liqueur and raspberry jelly trifle, mango lassi, brioche soaked in honey and pinot gris, as well as orange blossom water. Following a drop of water, the “blemming blooming” just carried on, yet this time the scent was that of flowering, glorious gorse in Scotland as well as Japanese cherry blossom.
