On the palate flavours exploded with toffee, fudge and tropical fruits wrapped in herb infused olive oil, marzipan and dark chocolate. With water the aromas opened greatly, now abound with caramel, nuts and leather in a cigar box alongside maple syrup and vanilla pods. Linseed oil and waxy lime skin pointed towards clean engine oil and pink peppercorns in clotted cream. Textures coated the mouth and permeated through juicy tropical fruits, blackcurrants and peaches. A herbal character now developed and joined hot cross buns and pine needles on the nutty finish.
