The palate delivered a big hit of spice with a balanced sweetness that suggested nut chocolate, vanilla sponge cake and icing sugar. A dash of water released fennel, tarragon and sage with accentuated candied orange, marmalade and kumquat plus creamy textures of butter and croissants.
