The fluffy cumulus turned to heavy cumulonimbus, before a downpour of dark chocolate separated cherries and bananas from their branches and caused them to cascade on to mint leaves and cinder toffee on the ground. All this rain diluted the dram, releasing a gush of fresh oak, toasted coconut and rum-flavoured cream cakes. The sun re-emerged as the rain eased to white chocolate-coated raisins.
