The palate echoed that with blackcurrant sorbet, tinned peaches, a maple and pecan danish, and doughnuts dipped in cinnamon sugar. In reduction the nose delivered dried pineapple, a rocky road ice cream float and ‘faire chabròl’ with hot chocolate. On the palate now we got the boozy fruits of pineapple juice with pastis and orange peel in sangria before finishing with molasses, tropical trail mix and hints of pepper and star anise.
