First up on the palate is a dense chocolatey note, along with stewed raisins, chopped dates, old vanilla essence, unlit cigars, more dark fruits and soft spices - an dense fruit and nut loaf - and a sense of botanic humidity. With the addition of water everything becomes silky smooth.
