The palate provided lemon sponge cake, clover honey, dried figs and raspberry Ruffle bar - that dark chocolate bitterness being augmented on the finish by some tannic oak. The reduced nose was clean, bright and invigorating - fruit cocktail, orange Mivvi, sherbet fountains and lemon lip balm kisses in a flower meadow.
