The palate’s pleasing acidity included brambles, Tangfastics, lemon meringue pie and lime sorbet; also ginger and cumin spice, oaky flavours and chewy sweetness to round it off. The reduced nose offered crushed nettles, green hops, rosemary, thyme, unripe banana and peppermint – with Refreshers, sherbet lemons and buttered popcorn sweetness.
