The palate is a sweet, fruity, citrus zingy thing – lemon and lime sorbet, passion-fruit, orange jelly, fruit Mentos and blackcurrant Tunes; though the after-taste picks up a bit of leather, tobacco, cumin and coriander heat. The reduced nose – vanilla sarsaparilla, apple, pear and ripe blackcurrant.
